Please note that changes are likely up until the festival starts, so the advice is to check back here frequently. The Village Hall will again be providing breakfast each morning from the Thursday to the Sunday.
The Village Hall Management Committee and all the volunteers wish to thank all who come to the the Village Hall for breakfast. The support you provide allows us to keep a valuable, but elderly, asset running for the benefit of the whole village.
Fairport Breakfasts 2026
The Village Hall's Famous Fairport Breakfast is known to set festival-goers up for the day!
This page provides information on the Famous Fairport Breakfast available at Cropredy Village Hall. Below you will find a little background, together with information such as opening times and prices for 2026. There is also a section for villagers on how to volunteer to help with the Famous Fairport Breakfast. At the bottom of the page you will find all the line-ups and times at all the venues at the festival. A larger version will be available to photograph at the Village Hall during breakfast opening hours.
As last year, free Wifi will be available. We will also provide a mobile phone charging facility (donations for this are welcome)
A Little Background:
Cropredy Village Hall has been providing breakfasts to Festival goers for over 20 years. With the help of well over 50 volunteers and the support of the Fairport Festival Goers, this has allowed the Village Hall to benefit of the local community by keeping rental charges as low as possible, and providing funds to ensure that the Hall is well maintained (particularly the troublesome roof!), as well as providing free WiFi and a comprehensive audio-visual facility.
Volunteering:
Providing a full breakfast to festival-goers is a major challenge in terms of catering supplies and equipment but particularly in staffing the many roles required. Although the whole event is coordinated by the Hall Management Committee, it would not be possible to provide breakfasts without an army of around 60 volunteers (about 10% of the population of the village although some of our volunteers come from further afield including friends or family of villagers). Some of these are experienced, some are novices, but we'd like to think that all have a really good time.
We are always looking for new volunteers, so if you can spare a few hours on any (all all) of the days listed below, we'd love to hear from you. Roles that we need to fill involve: BBQing; cooking; serving breakfasts; serving tea & coffee; fetching & carrying; and clearing up.

Opening Hours 2026:
After the success of opening on the Thursday morning in previous, the Famous Fairport Breakfast will again be available for those arriving during Wednesday as well as those arriving on Thursday morning. The table below shows when breakfast is available during the festival.

For 2026, Village Hall Famous Fairport Breakfast prices will be the same as in 2025.
All meals include bread (gluten-free available, as is dairy-free spread), tea, coffee or squash, and refills are free! We even provide decaf as well as Oat and Soya milks.

Factoid:
We recognise that most festival-goers refer to the festival as 'Cropredy' but this would not make sense to the residents of Cropredy who simply use the term 'Fairport' to cover the entire festival, including the fringe, and of course the Village Hall's Famous Fairport Breakfast.
